About

Pablo Casado lives in Guadeloupe, where he holds the position of artistic director in the field of graphic design. Growing up on this island, he was immersed from a young age in this incredible marine ecosystem. Experiences such as surfing, fishing, and diving have deeply connected him to the ocean.

After exploring his own artistic path influenced by graffiti and pop art, Pablo discovers the Japanese technique of Gyotaku, which immediately fascinates him.

Through his creations, he elevates the beauty and generosity of the oceans. By using the imprints of the fish he usually catches, he breathes a second life into them, paying homage before they are consumed. The meticulous realization of his works requires careful retouching, aiming to sublime each subject to the fullest.

An art dedicated to his passion, inspired by the ocean.

Through this unique technique, Pablo creates compositions that explore movement, depth and opacity, limiting himself to a monochrome palette.

By opting for organic inks and raw organic cotton canvases, he participates in the promotion of art that is respectful of the environment and in perfect harmony with his world.
